About Us

Our mission is to create transformational opportunities for marginalized and underserved youth through positive mentorship, woodworking, wooden boat building and on the water experiences.

TBB pairs youth with caring adults to create objects with functional beauty. By matching justice-involved and other young people facing adversity with caring, positive adults, they engage in a learning-by-doing process that builds mutual reliance, self-esteem, and efficacy. Through this, youth can experience setting and achieving their goals.
